If you need a visa for attending the conference, contact the organizers at sofsem@uj.edu.pl . We can send you an invitation letter, but please note that we are not able to obtain a police-certified invitation.
The conference will be held in the building of Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science, Jagiellonian University in Kraków, Poland.
Kraków offers a wide range of accommodation options in different price ranges. Very close to the conference venue, there is a hotel and a hostel located in the same building: Hotel Convictus Cracovia, Easy One.
Kraków Airport is located close to Kraków. You can get from the airport to the city center by a train SKA1 that leaves every half an hour and takes about 20 minutes. A taxi ride from the airport to the city center or to the conference venue should cost 150 PLN (40 EUR) using official airport taxis. Taxi hailing services are usually significantly less expensive. The main train station is called "Kraków Główny" and is located in the city center. The main bus station is in close vicinity of the train station. You can get to the conference vanue from the stations by tram 52.
The closest tram stop "Norymberska" is handled by several lines (11, 18, 52) connecting it with the city center. To get to the venue from the city center, you should take a tram headed into the direction "Czerwone Maki P+R" and get off at "Norymberska" stop. From the tram stop it is a short walk to the venue:
Public transport schedules can be checked in a popular website Jak Dojadę. Most trams and buses are equiped with a ticket vending machine. 60-minute ticket costs 6 PLN and 20-minute ticket costs 4 PLN.
