51st International Conference on Current Trends in Theory and Practice of Computer Science
February 9-13, 2026
Kraków, Poland

About

SOFSEM is an annual winter conference devoted to the theory and practice of computer science. The conference traditionally focuses on the latest results and developments of fundamental research in computer science (informatics), inspired by the algorithmic challenges of our time. SOFSEM has a long tradition as a high-quality research conference, and a venue where researchers from academia and industry in all stages of their career can share their insights. The series of SOFSEM conferences began in 1974, and was only interrupted in 2022 due to the covid pandemic. In 2026, at its 51st edition, SOFSEM will be held as a physical event in Kraków, Poland. The proceedings will be published in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) of Springer.

Poster Submission Guidelines

We invite participants to submit poster abstracts presenting late-breaking research findings or works in progress that align with the conference themes.

Poster abstracts should be submitted electronically through EasyChair.

Submissions must be prepared in accordance with Springer’s Instructions for Authors of Proceedings, and use the LaTeX template provided on the Springer’s page. The length should not exceed 2 pages in total.

Registration and Fees

Registration will open in November. The conference fee will not exceed €500. It will cover lunches, coffee breaks, reception, the conference dinner, and a planned excursion.
